Default Strength of schedule to start the year

Insider article on AL schedules. http://insider.espn.go.com/mlb/blog/...ague-schedules

With only 13 of their first 40 games against teams .500 or better last year, the White Sox have by far the easiest schedule to start the year (the Tigers were next easiest, and the Royals sport the most brutal schedule to start the year (26 of 39). We all know how important a good start to the year can be, but this year it appears to be even more important. A rough start to the season could be disastrous to our season, as the schedule is brutal in the second half.
