Default Obscure White Sox 45 rpm from 1985

Just came across an item regarding one of my holy grails... a 1985 45 rpm record called "White Sox Gettin' Down" by Wayne Mayfield that was available for a short time through the ChiSox Club. I was actually part of the ChiSox club at that time and remember the record being talked about, but I never managed to get a hold of a copy. Apparently the writer of the blog (dedicated to obscure 45 rpm records) came across a bunch of these at a church garage sale a couple years back. Here's a link with a pic of the 45 and a sound file:

That song is actually not bad compared to that 2005 World Series CD someone made and was sold at the Garage Sale for $1.

I am still looking for the song Steve Dahl made in 1993 called Nobody's gonna knock my Sox off. My brother had it on cassette with the other side having a comiskey park song . Unfortunately it was lost . Wish I could get it on my iPod
