Default SB Nation's Thoughts on the White Sox Farm System

They liked the 2012 draft and think that Hahn could represent some positive change but they blast Kenny Williams' last few years of the draft.

Go Sox!!!

It looks like the love affair for all or nothing hitters continues.

Doesn't the law of averages say we'll eventually get an "all" instead of only "nothings?"
The universe is the practical joke of the General at the expense of the Particular, quoth Frater Perdurabo, and laughed. The disciples nearest him wept, seeing the Universal Sorrow. Others laughed, seeing the Universal Joke. Others wept. Others laughed. Others wept because they couldn't see the Joke, and others laughed lest they should be thought not to see the Joke. But though FRATER laughed openly, he wept secretly; and really he neither laughed nor wept. Nor did he mean what he said.

This is a Sickels list. SB Nation is just the website and the community at large.

This is the only one I put much stock into. I think most of the other top 10's and top 20's that will come out later are sub-par.

That's a pretty fair assessment, but I wouldn't sell Mitchell short yet - let's see if he can bounce back this year.

The way we draft and sign, it's more along the lines of what we get rather than a plan to get that kind of hitter.

Maybe we should bring in a system-wide minor league hitting coach that solely deals with plate patience and reducing strikeouts.
