I think there was only one lead change in the NLCS, and that was in the bottom half of an early inning in St. Louis after the Giants scored first in the top half.

The ALCS, except for the four-run ninth, was a matter of the Yankees being offensively dead. I didn't watch much of the series because I had no rooting interest, but I don't believe there were any lead changes in that series.

I don't know if boring is the right word. It was unfortunate that the Yankees went to the trouble of beating the Orioles when they apparently had no intention of showing up against the Tigers. That series wasn't at all competitive. The NLCS was more competitive, and I wouldn't be as quick to label it as boring, especially with the team down 3-1 coming back to shut down the team that wouldn't die against the Nationals.
