After living in Peoria for 3 years, I grew to hate the Cardinals and Cardinal fans. Tonight just pissed me off. The teams I wanted to win in each series lost. I don't really like any team left.

I guess I will have to go with the Giants. I just don't like the Cardinals or the Tigers or the Yanks. Although I would not mind Ichiro winning one.

See, this is why the Cardinals are my second favorite MLB team. Outside of us both hating the Cubs, they are the team I want our Sox to be. They have heart, get clutch hits, have a never say die attitude, and have an optimal front office that knows baseball! They lost their best player Pulojs and now they are 4 wins are from a WS return. I'm not surprised they came back tonight, that's what the Cardinals do! Win games and make the postseason consistently.

There is no "brotherhood" between Sox and Cardinals fans. They hate the Sox too just as much as the Cubs, they don't like anything Chicago. That's why I wouldn't have minded see the Nats send them packing. I'll give them credit for being a good organization though.
