A-Rod not starting tonight. Let this be a message to ALL big-league managers that you don't have to start the fat cats if they're sucking.

Then don't use the term. If you want to slight Fielder, fine, but using a term like that is you saying he's inferior because he's feminine.

Has the pitching been this good, or has the approach by players on both sides this series been awful? Lots of swinging away on bad pitches.

Sigh.... The sox are never going to be a baseball power. First the twins, now the tigers. We'e ****ed.
Right?! The Sox are being handed an opportunity to become a baseball power. They don't want it.

I root for the Yanks if the Sox aren't around. Hometown rules.

CC escaped again. The Birds have had chances this series.

I tend to believe the pitching has just been very good in this series although its likely true that certain guys have been a little overeager because of the stakes.

I'm glad the Yankees are moving on and looking forward to this matchup with Detroit. That was a big time performance from Sabathia; life is so much easier as a club when you can go to guys like CC and Verlander. That was a very good series...

Life sometimes makes you choose between two equally balanced sides, and then it just makes some choices so obvious a blind man can see them.

It's now the latter. Yankees to pound the Tigers in the ALCS, then cheer for the NL team in the Series.

More confident with the Yankees as the opponent. Especially glad things open in the Bronx. As dirty as it sounds, go Yankees!

Love how it becomes the A's choked when they simply lost to the best pitcher in baseball. Nobody in America had the Athletics doing what they did. They had a nice run with a great young core of players.

And the feminine nickname for Fielder is pathetic and oh so clever. Grow the **** up. A bunch of in here because the Sox couldn't beat Detroit.
I assume most people like me aren't really talking about game 5, but another series as a whole where the great Biilly Beane couldn't get out of the first round.

If you can't even win the WS in your own movie, when the hell can you win it?
