Default Scouting the Tampa Bay Rays

Bob Nightengale
Teams are scrambling and now sending scouts to see #Rays after believing they were done.

Mods, please move to Talking Baseball. Thanks!

Good for them.

If we do get eliminated in this series, at least it's the Rays. They're typically the AL team I've looked out for the last few years with the Sox out.

As much as I'd like to see a miracle for the Sox, that O's /Rays series could be interesting.

Lose to Rays --> Scouts scrambling to see them in person --> Attendance issues solved.

Excellent outside-the-box problem solving!

You mean Wild Card play-in game, right? There's no way they both catch the Yankees.

The Rays always seem to put it into another gear near the end .. last year was awesome .. now that the White Sox are almost dead, i'm hoping the Rays can get in .. i'm fired up about the playoffs, as always but since i no longer have any interest in football or hockey, the season's end always has a melancholy flavor to it
