Buck sounds like he'd rather be somewhere else because he really WOULD rather be somewhere else. He has been quoted in an interview where he said he doesn't like baseball anymore and finds the game boring. However, this does not stop FOX from assigning this guy to cover the most important baseball games of the season.

I'm very disappointed to find out that Fox got the renewal. It's not just Buck and McCarver that I dislike. The other Saturday afternoon crews are also pretty bad. Josh Lewin, Thom Breneman, Mark Grace (before he hit the bottle), Eric Karros (just a brutal color guy), etc. I can sometimes tolerate Kenny Albert but even he can be bad at times. At least they are using the MLB Network guys for studio analysis these days. This is one improvement they made.
