Following Tiger posters on the message board, they are WAY more frustrated then us. They even hate El Papa Douche and want Leyland fired.

LOL! The Sox are actually in better position tonight than they were last night, despite a dreadful performance this afternoon.

The one-game edge in the loss column has been restored.

Neither of these two teams is good enough to put the other away. It will be a war of attrition to the finish.

The tigers have the stench of the team that will come close but never overtake for first place. It has been this way the entire year. The sox are begging to lose this thing but the tigers Don't want it. The Sox win this thing October 2nd.

So the Tigers just got swept in a doubleheader by the team the Sox swept last week, with the difference being the Tigers got swept at home and the Sox did their sweeping on the road.

Baseball is a crazy game.

Hard to believe we've lost five in a row, and the Tigers couldn't take advantage. They are allergic to first place.

Back to controlling our own destiny.

That's kind of the problem. Neither team is good enough to run away from the other one. Detroit makes too many mistakes in the field. The Sox are too thin on the roster and they're tired.

It's all a battle of attrition.

Listened to the last inning on XM.

The Tigers finished their nine game home slate against Minnesota with three wins.

Thanks, Twins! You can do more of the same next weekend too!

Now the Tigers must deal with Kansas City for 4...And that won't be an easy task!
