I have absolutely no proof to support this, but I think that was just used as an excuse. I think they close off the upper deck access to keep the outfield concourse from becoming a complete ****show and getting dangerously overcrowded.

No,that's in 2013.This is only the 9th Anniversary.The only reason I know this is beacuse I was 5 outs away from losing a bet with my sCrUB loving brother in law.Had the "Loveable Losers" made the WS, I had to parade the streets of Waukegan wearing a sCrUBS uni and cap,singing "Hey Hey,Holy Mackerel".Glad I did not have to demean myself.A Sox fan rooting for the "Dark Side" ?? We don't have to, but by nature, we do, especially anniversaries with round numbers.

This is an awful memory, but I don't think we should forget it. In doing so, we Sox fans should continue to do what we have done: Condemn these thugs for an inexcusable action, don't buy their fake remorse (what little this was and how shortlived it was), and emphasize that this in no represents the type of fans and people we are.

One of my favorite "Cubune" posts ever!

We need to reinvent that posting style. I know not the same without the Trib owning the Cubs, but those biases die hard, like on Monday when after beating the Tigers, it's all Cub talk on "Cubune Live" on CSN.
