This thread won't get much action until the 3rd as the Tigers are playing the Sox, but never hurts to be prepared.

Hopefully come the 3rd, we're talking about how Detroit has to pick up six games on the Sox.

Why do we have to play Detroit seven times and Kansas City six times in the next month? Why can't I enjoy one month of relative prosperity absent the risk of downfall and failure?

Tigers are about to whoop up on the Indians. It's 1-1 in the first, but the bases are juiced with one out.

Or not. DP by Boesch. 1-1, after 1.

Remember back a couple of months when the Indians were playing the Tigers and there were mixed feelings here as to which team White Sox fans should be rooting for?

For the most part, the Indians were viewed as less of a threat than the Tigers. It was assumed they would come down to earth...but no one expected them to crash and burn like they did.
