Prior to tonight’s game vs. Yankees, White Sox placed outfielder Alejandro De Aza on the 15-day DL w/ bruised left ribs.

Daryl Van Schouwen
De Aza has described his area of concern as in the oblique area. Sox now calling it bruised left ribs.
Danks recalled, De Aza DL'd.

Frank Thomas: spoke with De Aza, he did it sliding into 2nd.

EDIT: Retroactive to Saturday

Liriano had cramping in the leg. Ramirez partially tore a finger nail on a ground ball.

Mark Gonzalez is saying that Peavy has some sort of right eye problem and wouldn't have been able to pitch on Wednesday.

Daryl Van Schouwen
Floyd slated to throw side session Thurs to test sore elbow. Last one Monday went OK. Will try breaking pitches this time. Return date iffy.

Dunn was going south in the second half even before this injury.

With Floyd, who the hell knows?

According to Van Dyke at the Tribune tonight, Dunn might miss the entire Detroit series.

Don't know where he got his info just passing along what he wrote.
