Dayan was back in the lineup last night, so his "injury" wasn't anything serious.

Hit 2 home runs tonight, maybe Dayan should keep injuring that hand...

Tyler Saladino has been on fire lately. He's 18-28 with 4 2B, 4 3B and a HR in his last 6 games.
Up to .268/.355/.507 with 16 HR. Probably the 3rd best prospect in the organization behind Dayan and Reed as far as I'm concerned. |

Does Kussmaul have any pro potential as a reliever? He's definitely old for his level (almost 25 & at W-S), but this is his first full major league season. His numbers are ridiculous: 55.1 IP, 87 K, 0.94 WHIP

Serafin got promoted to Charlotte per Twitter. Am I the only one confused as to why Santiago is still in Double-A? I get not rushing him, but there is so much garbage in that Charlotte rotation and bullpen.

This happens every year for guys who some deem to be undeserving of a promotion (see familial promotions and the ensuing rage at WSI). My guess is Santiago is being held in AA for the playoffs.

Griffith walked 96 and had 17 wild pitches in 108 innings.
Hope he doesn't hurt anyone out there. |

I believe Jared Mitchell's 183 SO in the Carolina League are the most since Glenallen Hill (204) in 1985. #NotAGoodSign #WhiteSox 4 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply |

The only bright spot perhaps to the minor league system in 2011 is this.
Great Falls won the Pioneer League championship sweeping Odgen in three games. The Voyagers had a great second half and that carried over into the postseason. Had a pitcher go 9-0 in the season and then 2-0 in the playoffs. Lip |
