Default Stefan Gartrell

I noticed on the board yesterday that Gartrell led the Knights in a few categories for the season, including having 27 HRs. I also notice he 26 years old.

Looks like there hasn't been a post about him since May 10.

Does this kid have any potential at the major league level, or are we talking about a career AAAA player, ala Luis Terrero?

The CW is he strikes out way too much, isn't a plus defender (to be kind), and doesn't run well. So, yes, he's probably a career organization filler.

Are you nuts?! This guy sounds like he belongs in our outfield!

A Luis Terrero mention...wow, hadn't thought about that guy in ages. He did have light tower power, but not much else. Gartrell probably is that kind of player.

The Sox must not think much of him, since they didn't reward him with a Sept. callup.

Everything I've heard and read suggests the guy is organizational filler.
