Default Daniel Cabrera....
I just saw on the bottom line of MLBN that we signed him to a minor league contract. I like it as a absolutely no risk but high reward signing if true.

Always had a great arm (though another guy who has no clue about holding runners), and I know KW likes that arm.

Problem is, he has a head of popcorn, and he is very, very immature.

Not to mention that game against BOS he was in when he balked in a runner from 3B, then threw at Dustin Pedroia and started a bench brawl because he didn't know how to hold a runner on.

Unfortunately I don't think this guy will ever get it.

When I posted that the Sox had interest in him years back I got ripped on but I am happy we got insurance though.

Why does it matter where he flamed out? If with the Nationals or someone else--it doesnt matter if he has a foundational problem w/ his approach to pitching.

Matt Thornton was 28 his last year with Seattle.

I won't bank on anything, but if Coop can make Cabrera one of his greatest reclamation projects, that would be pretty sweet.

That's almost not even an exaggeration at all.
