Default Dan Hudson

Seems to be progressing well. Is now in WS after starting the year in Kannapolis. That Kanny pitching staff is sick.

Is the minor leagues as a whole, doing a lot better or just a little better because of Buddy Bell?

Hudson's already moved up to Birmingham. He made his debut there last night and pitched one scorless inning in relief. The Sox are really fast-tracking him. He's gone from low A to high A to AA in a month or so. He made 8 appearances at Winston-Salem before being moved up to Birmingham. They must like what they see.

The boxscore was wrong. That was actually Matt Long in relief.

Dan Hudson is starting tonight.

Hudson is on BA's prospect Hot Sheet. In the blurb they say that Chicago's system has improved as much as any organization in baseball this year.

This kid clearly has the most promise of any of the arms in our farm system.

Does anybody have a scouting report on him? What does he throw? Where does he project?

If we give up 5 players, and the only ones on our MLB roster are Clayton and Poreda, then no package is too much in my opinion.

Agreed, we would have a nasty rotation w/ Halladay added in place of Richard.

Maybe if we bargain hard, we can get a utility infielder for him.
