Mitchell had a pretty big hit for LSU last night.
2 run triple in the 6th to tie the game. Came off UT's best lefty reliever. Before that, J Mitch had struggled against lefties.

Jared Mitchell was named "Most Outstanding Player" for the College World Series.
Good luck to him in his pro career. Hope he turns out to be a great player for y'all

Saw Mitchell's post-game interview. Upon being asked about his HR, he broke down the AB in a rather analytical way, which gave me the impression that he might be a real student of the game. I'm hoping for a Beckham-like rise through the system.
