Usually the Sox keep a 5th OF that can play OF/IF, so between Owens and Wise, one will not be with the Sox, IMO.

His stats over the last two seasons in AAA are pretty good, actually. At a minimum he looks to be an upgrade over Owens, which admittedly isn't saying much.

Of course we did. He now joins the fine tradition of Kenny Williams Jr. (who admittedly may still be OK) and Ozzie Guillen Jr. How long until we sign Buerhle's daughter to a minor league deal? 18 years?

I have a question. i read somewhere that Jordan Danks has enough skills to play a mlb center field. His numbers were not bad in the Arizona fall league. He was at Glendale but was not on the roster to openly tryout for center. I believe from what i read that he may be our future centerfielder. of course his hitting this year in the minors will be the key. How far away or how long before we see him?

I would give him at least two years.

Most people who have seen him are saying 2010.

i will be following his progress. In the fall league where talent is showcased he put up decent numbers. 2010 could be.

With Danks possible for 2010 along with Beckham and the possible maturation of Richard and Poreda this team could look pretty good...
