After his blazing start, Beckham is 1 for his last 18. I guess that's why they have the minor leagues. Everyone has to make adjustments. Nice to see Jordan off to a good start so far. And right after I say he's not hitting for power, Morel has been hitting homers in bunches. I've got to un-jinx our guys more often I guess.

I was questioning Morel's power also. Maybe he's picking it up as he learns more? Better coaching? Or maybe a small sample size.

In the White Sox farm system, good one.

If you think the reason the Sox haven't developed a lot of players is the minor league coaches, you got something coming to ya...
the drafting was terrible for years. Name any of our players we traded that devloped somewhere else and came back to hurt us..... You can't. Last two years it's been better and the players look to be possible major leaguers. |

I really don't know enough to say that... I can't imagine the Sox coaches in the minors are as bad as you imply.

You do remember what teal means, don't you High Priest? I'm not implying anything.

Beckham had an 0-4 day? He's clearly never going to amount to anything. Release him.

I'm just glad that Morel is finally hitting well. I liked this pick a lot at the time and he was making me look kind of bad for it for awhile. 1 week obviously doesn't tell you much either way, but it's nice to see there is at least some potential there.

He's been hitting all along. He's "finally" starting to show power. And by "finally" you mean after 64 ABs in Great Falls and going straight to Kanny and having a whole 157 ABs there. And by "finally hitting", you mean that he has tore up GF (.375/.437/.438) and is consistently hitting in the Sally league (.287/.351/.420) That said, he is showing power and looking solid, but he is a long way (2 years) from being close to the big leagues. |
