Haeger too, but that isn't that surprising. But considering Link was the one most people want called up, that hurts.

Jason Childers has been pitching well. I don't know anything about him except his stats, which are very good this year. He's older, 33, and he's had a cup of coffee in the majors before, appearing in five games in 2006 with Tampa Bay. Maybe with that experience he could get a couple guys out in the bigs.
Don't know what other options the Sox have for getting any help out of their farm system this year. They may have to wait to see who appears on the waiver wire. |
