You think they'll really have 2 catchers that both bat lefty? They might let him get some more seasoning under his belt in AAA and give Toby a 1-year deal with an option on a 2nd year. Now that he's healthy this year, he's been very good as a backup and vs righties.
If they do go with Cole, I'd still be happy since he impressed me a lot in spring training and the fact I can't stand guys who look like high school freshmans at the plate (Lucy, Stewart, Widger, etc). |
