Richard is certainly coming along nicely. Hopefully Poreda does as well in his first start at his new level.

I don't know much about this Clayton Richard kid... Anyone got some info on him? Bio? Scouting report?

FWIW, Rotoworld projects Richard to be the next Heath Phillips in the farm system. They say his stuff isn't very impressive, but what do they know...

I know he's from Lafayette, IN. I didn't realize he was promoted to AAA already...very cool.

I believe he was a backup QB at Michigan for a few years and didn't even play baseball there until he had been there for a few years. Then he quit football, played baseball instead, and then got drafted.
