Sauerbeck pitching for the Knights? Scott Sauerbeck? He used to be good; depending on age and health, he might be a useful addition later this year.

He looked good when he first came up for the Pirates nine years ago. He was involved in a drunk driving incident in 2006 where he was the passenger, ran from the cops and hid in some bushes. He ended up being convicted on obstruction of justice charges. The Indians released him within two weeks of the incident. He signed with the A's a few days later but was relased at season's end. He hasn't been in the majors since. |
