I expect that a few of these guys, namely Eggy, Gio, DLS, and Carter, are going to get relatively meaningless late season congratulatory promotions from the Sox. I was wondering something though: does anyone think Carter or DLS could make the jump straight to Birmingham with a solid ST next year? Both have been superstars at Low A so far.

I actually think the only guy there to get a callup would be Gio, and even then I think none of those guys get a callup. No way do the White Sox want to start these guys' arb clocks too early.

Maybe Bourgeois, Sweeney (if not before), Andy Gonzalez (he'll be gone soon), Richar and Terrero get nods, but I doubt anyone else will.

I meant promotions to the next level. Like, send Eggy and Gio to Triple A and Carter and DLS to W-S for the last few games of the year.

I don't think anyone below Triple A except maybe Oneli Perez will be called up to the Sox this season as we've had to move enough guys off our 40man already, and there aren't many on our 40-man now that could be moved off without getting claimed by someone. I hope Andy Gonzalez stays as a UT guy since he can play the field. Bourgeois and Richar I could see as well as Sweeney, Oneli Perez, and BA but the Sox have to dump some dead weight *cough* Erstad *cough* Pods *cough* Cintron *cough* Uribe *cough* Sukvich... and I could keep on coughing.
