tough one tonight.......who was the goat? i missed the game but I saw we had a nice lead and blew it pretty bad.......I hope we can take the series this weekend....

Garland should have only had 4 ER. He wasn't the goat. Ozuna stuck in a position he doesn't usually play on a windy night.No goats here.

Ya, Ozuna should never have been out there, but when 2 of your starters are out that is what happens. Man this was rough to watch. After the 1st inning I was like this is going to be a hitting clinic that will get em back on pace, I was wrong. Get them tommorow. I predict a good one for vasquez.

Garland looked very Judy tonight. The thing that set him apart last year was his ability (finally) to overcome problems behind him and get outs. He couldn't do that tonight. The sinker was WAY up.

What the hell is wrong with the defense? IIRC, that was one of the cornerstones of the team last year. Pablo's butchery, Anderson missing that fly (with Rob Mackowiak NOWHERE near backing up), Thornton throwing the pickoff throw wide, and Konerko unable to get the ball to Widger. What the hell is going on?

How can you blame Ozuna? It was Ozzies call to put an infielder into outfield....what ever happened to Ozzie Ball? To Grinder baseball? Why didn't we have a pinch runner in for Thome to get some speed in the Ninth that helps to break the Pitchers concentration against the batters?

well said, only the 4th game. We did blow a 6 run lead, but hopefully the weather conditions will be better and our guys will be a little smarter on defense as well. Hopefully Javy has a great 1st start in a Sox uni.

When was the last time we blew a 6 run lead? I remember a game against the Yanks in 96, with Alex Fernandez starting, that we blew an 8 -0 lead. But I can't remember a loss this bad for quite awhile.

very embrassing loss. all i heard today from cub fans was, "how do u lose to the royals? how do u give up a 6 run lead to the royals? pathetic!"

all i had to do was ask them who won the world series last year to shut them up, but i still was embrassed.
