So true. The team remains interesting even in games that they eventually lose. Sweep!

I don't see an error int he top of the ninth in the play-by-play. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong summary with incorrect scoring decisions. What I see is Belisario giving up a game-tying hit wtih two outs and two strikes on the hitter.

The only error in the game I see is the Indians' error on a ground ball by Flowers to lead off the bottom of the ninth. Garcia pinch runs, steals second. Semien moves him to third, setting up the game-winning hit.

The Sox took the lead the previous inning on a Beckham walk, a Gillaspie hit send him to third, a walk to Viciedo, who may have been pitched around because the Indians believed Dunn could be a likely strikeout, and a Dunn fly out deep enough to score Beckham. The previous inning, after failing to get the runner from third with one out, Semien picked up Flowers with a clutch two-out single to to the game.

Score those runs when you have the chance and you have a chance to win.

The blown save by Belisario was a bit disappointing, especially after last night. But that was the only real complaint. I didn' think a two-strike-two-out home run by Giambi would be enough to beat the Sox tonight. That it was Noesi's only mistake was impressive, probably his most impressive start of the year.

It's nice to sweep the Indians, especially during a week when the Astros are sweeping the Royals in Kansas Ciy, the wins are losing two of three to the Rangers and the the A's, who appeared tonight to be on the verge of taking two out of three in Oakland, lost two of three to the A's with Joe Nathan giving up a three-run homer while protecting a 1-0 ninth-inning lead.

7-3 against Cleveland this year. This sweep feels good, especially after how things went against the Indians last season.

I just hope they can pound on the Padres before they head out west.

TDog:

Dunn threw a ball into leftfield in the 9th that could have been a DP. Not an error, but it cost Belly.

Thanks. I missed that following the accounts.

I've wondered why Dunn has been playing so much first base. Maybe it's the best they can do defensively with Abreu out, although I thought Konerko looked good at first base against the A's. I've been wondering if Dunn has been playing so much first to make him more atactactive in trade.

Default Twtw

C'mon Hawk bring it back. This team has TWTW. Noesi pitched great again and makes the rotation look solid.

Guess closer is the biggest hole right now. But that is fixable. Just reassign roles in the bullpen.

Great sweep...and great sports nite with the Hawks winning and both the cubs and Heat losing.

Probably because his numbers while playing 1B as opposed to DH are traditionally much better (although not as drastic this year). He also tends to whine if he has to play DH.

Since when he whined?

He's playing 1B because he's the best option between a hurt Abreu and Paul Konerko who really should not be on the team
