Default Have fun with with is amazing homage to the history of baseball

Inspired by the Mexican-style Arbol de Vida sculptures, Craig Robinson of Flip Flop Flyball gives you the Beisbol version... It is wonderful...

If you can't identify all the symbols and people, a full explanation is here:

The Red Sox are referred to as "The Sox"!!!!!

White Sox Baseball
# of teams with a longer playoff drought = 3:
San Diego (2006), Miami (2003), Seattle (2001)

# of teams with fewer playoff appearances since 1995 = 5:
Kansas City* (2), Toronto** (1), Miami (2), Washington (2), Milwaukee (2)

# of Sox seasons in the this decade that were arguably dismal failures = 4:
2011, 2013, 2014, 2015

Conclusion: Blame Sox fans for not showing up to enough games

* back to back AL Champs, WS Champs
** advanced to ALCS this year

I figured out the dates the two leagues were founded, and the death a Ray Chapman.

Did anybody else figure out the Eddie Grant Memorial?

When you think about it, it's pretty amazing that in more than 100 years of major league baseball Ray Chapman is still the only guy to have been killed on the field of play considering the 95 mph fastballs, 120+ mph off the bat, flying bat shards and brick outfield walls.

edit: Ha, got a laugh from the dove on Johnson's head.
