Default Why is Chris Sale so skinny?

The Wall Street Journal investigates

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...194720956.html

(I'm not joking)

Brian Costa, the WSJ writer who penned the piece, gave an interview with 90.9 WBUR, NPR Boston

Nice to see a Sox player starting to get his much deserved national attention

I think it has something to do with Prince Fielder's fat ass not being on the team.

He's not skinny, he's wirey.

Article also mentions, Thornton has eliminated gluten, high-fructose corn syrup and dairy products from his diet.

It's obviously his life choices that have led to him being skinny.

I'm skinny and I feel fine (though I weigh less than Chris). Nice that our ace has the same frame I do.

Are you 6'6"?

I'm guessing they added a few pounds for the roster card as well.

Dude could definitely use about 20 pounds, maybe he has a worm? Hawk said he drinks four protein shakes a day plus regular meals. If I ate like that, I would be packing on pounds.

If he ate 5,000 calories a day, he'd weigh more.
