I thought the article was decent overall, but the my favorite part of the article and something I didn't realize is this:
Beckham: .234/.296/.371 AL: .249/.310/.372 While I am as frustrated with Beckham's hitting just as everyone else is on this site, this stat line doesn't make him seem so bad offensively compared to the rest of the AL. And I think his defense somewhat makes up for his lack of offense.

What's annoying about the national pundits is they always seem to assume the White Sox will suck. Like there's no middle ground between beating the Tigers for the division and finishing above .500.
