As I typed my last TBGR of this heartbreaking season, the words of Bart Giamatti kept filling my mind, "It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone."

I can't recall a season that I've felt more heartbroken than I do right now. And now I am alone.

Fittingly, I looked for and found the saddest picture of Eeyore possible, as I thought this day deserved it.
