Default September AL Central (OK, Tigers) Watch Thread - The Home Stretch

This thread won't get much action until the 3rd as the Tigers are playing the Sox, but never hurts to be prepared.

Hopefully come the 3rd, we're talking about how Detroit has to pick up six games on the Sox.

Why do we have to play Detroit seven times and Kansas City six times in the next month? Why can't I enjoy one month of relative prosperity absent the risk of downfall and failure?

Why can't Bruce Chen retire?

Tigers are about to whoop up on the Indians. It's 1-1 in the first, but the bases are juiced with one out.

Or not. DP by Boesch. 1-1, after 1.

Bases loaded, one out for the Indians. Asdrubal at the plate...

EDIT: Cabrera hits a sac fly to deep left, all runners tag. 3-2 Indians.

Brantley strikes out.

That was a fantastically terrible display of baserunning by Cleveland.

Brent Lillbridge was never known as a smart and/or good base runner.
