Judging by his numbers, he is a good guy to start games in Charlotte. Humber sucks.

Given the abject lack of anything worthwhile in the farm system, I support the signing of ANY warm body that may or may not help. Honestly, the organization could really use any kind of depth at pretty much every position, IMO.

Absent this type of signing, any significant injury in the starting rotation [beyond Peavy] means that we'll be treated to the joy of Lucas Harrell as a SP for an extended period of time.

Pretty much. They also have the potential to suppress Sale's service time, so I guess it isn't all bad.

Humber had close to league average numbers last year with KC. Having a depth player like that in AAA isn't bad thing, especially since the upper system in thin in pitching.
