Who will end up with the number 1 pick for the 2011 draft ?
Will it be Houston, Baltimore or the White Sox ? |

Depends on who goes into fire sale mode first I guess?

The other two teams have a much lower level of talent than we do. Ours has not played any better than theirs, but we at least have a higher talent level. I'll guess Baltimore. Markakis, Wieters, Jones ,Matusz and maybe a few others are salvageable, but they have Atkins, Izturis, Patterson and a ton of other crap around there. Also they have the toughest schedule in baseball.

I don't see the Sox as bad as Houston or Baltimore. I think we end up picking in the 6 to 10 range.

I'm more interested in who will BE the no. 1 pick. Is Bryce Harper pretty much the consensus? Would the Sox take him with the no. 1?

As of now the likely #1 pick in the 2011 draft is Rice 3B Anthony Rendon. Last edited by DirtySox; 05-21-2010 at 10:38 AM. |
