I think Fulmer was brought up too early, and I think he doesn’t have enough plus pitches to be a starter. I think his future is as a high-leverage reliever: either a closer or set-up guy, or a 2-3 inning “fireman” like Andrew Miller. If he can succeed in any of those thre bullpen roles, it will not have been a wasted pick.
