Yeah I love how fans like to say things like that when it's not their money or their job. Easy to tell other people to walk away from huge sums of money to "do what's right" or "play for a winner". It's a job. I know for most of us it's a passion and I'm sure the vast majority of players who have ever played MLB or even MiLB truly love the game also, but the point of any job is to get paid. As you get to the end of your working career getting the money you are promised is as important as anything else and it should be.
