The Sox have won and lost a lot of close games this year. It's one of the reasons their bullpen failures have had such an effect on their record. But their last four wins in their last five games have been fairly easy by 2014 White Sox standards.
The Tigers handed the Sox this game, between the errors and Soria's hanging breaking pitches, though it still shows a difference between this team and last year's team. Last year's team would usually try to hand games back.
