- The other Josh Fields threw a scoreless inning in relief of BMac.
- Spidale reached twice and stole 2 bases.
- Anderson also reached twice.
In Game 2, Charlotte committed 4 errors and had only 4 hits. Nonetheless, Smith, Baj, and Walker combined for 3 innings of scoreless relief.
Haigwood's final line: 6 IP, 1 ER (solo HR), 5 H, 0 BB, 5 K. The 'Hogs only run came on a solo shot by Collaro.
In addition to the homers in Kanny, other positives are:
- Ricks tripled and walked.
- Cook reached in all 4 PAs (HR + 3 BB).
- Berry walked in addition to his HR.
- In additon to his HR, Hernandez walked, doubled, and threw out all 3 runners who tried to steal.

Are there any plans to make Ricks a cather? I could have swore that when they drafted him, they announced they wanted him listed as a catcher. I know Kanny has Hernandez. He played 2b at Miami.
Speaking of Miami, if any of you get the ESPN U, great match-up between 2 of the top pitching prospects in the nation, Cesar Carrillo and Andrew Miller go at it as Miami faces North Carolina. Carrillo went to Mt. Carmel. Today @ 3pm, 609 on Direct TV.
