Supposed to be like Buehrle? No. He was a poor-man's Mark Buehrle, but he'd never had anywhere near the kind of success Buehrle had in the minors, and after getting drilled by that line-drive, it took him a long time to be back to 100%. IMO, he's never been much of a prospect as a starter, but he could have had a LH'd long-relief role with a team.

As a soft-tosser, you absolutely have to have pinpoint control and still find a way to keep hitters off-balance, and I don't think Stewart has ever been anything but average at either of those things.
