What are Viciedo, Eaton and Garcia making? About 3.8 mil combined? In that case you can afford a 4 mil dollar fourth outfielder. So the Sox are paying about eight million for OF...that's well below average I'm sure. Probably worth it considering Viciedo's borderline play and the fact Eaton and Garcia haven't played a full season of ML ball. I have a pretty high level of faith in Garcia succeeding, but any of them could bust.

If they don't bust, then you have a fairly strong LH bat you can plug in for half the lineup.
