Since the Sox finished 29 and 23
games behind the Indians and Royals, I definitely think we are worse off than they are. At this point, the White Sox do not have one star positional player. Now we all hope that will change with Abreu and Garcia, but one or both could be stars or busts. Basically the White Sox have Sale and Santiago and a bunch of young prospects as pitchers and positional players going into next year.
