I was really worried that some of the writers were going to hold the whole DH thing against Frank. Fortunately, common sense prevailed. Frank not only had the counting numbers in his favor, he also had a period of dominance during the 1990s that was just too much to ignore.
A great hitter will take his rightful place in Cooperstown in July.
I too was worried that some writers would hold the DH thing against him even though he was a 1B for half his career. I also think the downfall of the steroid monsters helped put Frank's career into an even better light and rightfully so. Also, really glad he got in on the first ballot.
