For the last ****ing time, Semien is not going to be in Charlotte because of Konerko.
If they want Semien to start the season in Chicago, they will trade one of Beckham, Ramirez or Gillaspie to open a starting job for him.
It does Semien no good to sit on the bench in Chicago. He'll either go back to Charlotte to get his ABs and play every day, or they will make room for him to start in the big-league infield.
This would be the case even if Konerko was not on the team. Even a third-grader should be able to understand this concept. I don't think I can spell it out any clearer.
