The Brewers would be free of his final year (2015) which is a $4M buyout or a $14M mutual option for a 37 year-old part-time 3B. (A $5M overall savings for Milwaukee with the buyout.) Not a large ammount of money, but maybe they could be sold on the possibility of reviving Dunn in the NL.
For the Sox, Ramirez could DH and sometime 3B while providing an example to the young Latinos on the team.
