It's not my opinion- it's the fact that zero MLB teams have any interest in adding Adam Dunn to their roster- if any of them did see value in Dunn- he's be gone by now as part of the rebuilding/retooling of the team.
It's not that he doesn't have value to some of the other teams in baseball; it's that his $15 million contract isn't accurately representative of that value. I'm sure that if he were owed only $5 million next year, or if the White Sox agreed to eat the other $10 million, some other GM would need left-handed power enough to add Dunn.
Dunn isn't entirely worthless. He's just not worth anywhere near $15 million.
