In my high school, all the "popular kids" developed a system of nicknames for each other wherein a long "E" sound was added to the first (or only) syllable of their last name. Nelson became "Nellie," White was "Whitey," Olson was "Olie," etc. It was as annoying as it sounds.

I'd have been "Kammie" - good thing I wasn't popular.
My man Vincent says:

"Gogh Gogh White Sox!"
