Unfortunately, the Sox lost the ALCS 4 games to 2 to the eventual World Champs Toronto.

As is pretty much the average in the Reinsdorf era, it'll be another 7 years before they make the playoffs again.
I loved that team. That was my first year of college and remember watching McCaskill pitching and the final out to Ellis Burks in my room. What a pitching staff and remembering how great Big Hurt was just entering his prime.
