That's why he's fine for 8/9 spot on this team. We have a few promising infield prospects, Beckham's good enough to hold it down for now. He could transfer easily into a utility role so he shouldn't get in anyone's way unless he really starts to hit, in which case we wouldn't have a complaint anyway. I still wouldn't be surprised if he had a couple solid seasons at the plate by the time he's 32, but I wouldn't nail him to the job waiting for it either.
