Yesterday was one of the "every team wins 60"- we tried to give it away with De Aza ****ing up a fly ball to right center and turning it into a triple, and Danks almost helped the Royals by getting picked off AGAIN in the late innings.
Even when we win- it's not really inspiring or great baseball-
So much dead weight/AAAA players on this roster (Wise, Wells, Jordan Danks, Flowers, De Aza, Omogrosso, Troncoso)-
I'm reluctant to say De Aza belongs on that list. He's second on the team in RBIs, and he's among the best in the American League as far as hitting with RISP. So, that part's been good. The defense and baserunning have been poor, and his strikeout totals are ridiculous.
I don't know what to think of De Aza this year, but I do think he does more good things for the team than the other stiffs on that list.
