I'm surprised Myers challenged Konerko on a 3-1 pitch. Yeah, the tying run moves into scoring position if he walks him. But, there were two out and Viciedo -- an automatic out at this point -- was on deck.
Of course, I'm surprised it took that long for one of the Sox hitters to park one of Myers' meatballs. That guy sucks. He had no stuff all day. A good offense would have pounded the mediocre fastballs and sloppy curves he was featuring.
Nice outing for Peavy today. He found his command in the second inning and retained it the rest of the game.
