It's very odd. Why lock up an innings eater type pitcher to big dollars this year when the team is going to lose 90-100 games again? Unless maybe they are going to go spend crazy next offseason and want to have him locked up now? Don't really understand this one. Wow...they aren't just similar, they are almost the exact same pitcher. I'm sure Floyd's agent is going to use that as a base whenever Gavin hits free agency.
